How not to be a missionary
July 24th, 2008 by paulzDuring our Africa Based Orientation they had a wonderful children’s program. They snapped a few pictures of the kids. Here is one of them.
Here Andrej is demonstrating some great evangelistic techniques.
I wonder what lession God wants me to learn from this behaviour?
The actual story we got was that the girls were dancing and putting up their hands completely oblivious to Andrej who happened to be playing with a stick.
It is great to read your updates and insights. We have been thinking of you and wondering how you are doing in Kenya. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. God’s blessings and prayers to you.
That is a beauty! Hey, if carrying a stick makes people receptive to the gospel, I’m all for it! (As long as it’s not being used in an imposing or threatening manner…)
We are so blessed to read your blog! We love getting the updates and hear how everyone is doing and how God is using you all to reach the lost! We pray for you all so much and miss you! Thank you for your example and witness!
Awww! Look at Andrej! He looks like he is having fun! What a funny caption… LOL! Thanks for posting this. Your family is constantly in our prayers. We sure love and admire you guys! What wonderful examples of God’s love you are… serving His people with courage. It is inspiring.
That’s our boy! Thought grandpop taught him to use the right hand? Would like to be with you, but will settle for being with you in Spirit. Blessings, Noni and GP
Wonderful to see Andrej with the other children, happy and playing…and preaching the gospel. He has that bold spirit which will serve him well.
Miss you, love you all and lifting you up to the Father.
I stop by frequently to see how you are doing. You are in our prayers; may God’s blessings continue to cover you and guide you!! Looking forward to your next post.
