He is always there
August 21st, 2008 by paulzWe have been in a lot of transition in the last two months. We have not had a place to call home. It has not been a big problem, but it has been a little tough for the boys.
I put the boys down for a nap and after they were asleep headed out to work on some papers. After a while I heard a voice and went to check. Andrej had woken up. I asked if he needed anything, and he said, “I want someone to stay with us.”
As a parent, I thought about what that means for my heavenly Father. He is always there. Nothing happens to me that He is unaware. I can “sleep” with confidence no matter where I am. I can live in His peace where ever He puts me.
Thank you for posting this today. What a wonderful word! It’s good encouragement to read of your discovery of living in peace… wherever. Also wonderful to know you guys are doing well. God’s truly blessed you- we’re praying for you all, and will lift up the boys especially.
That is beautiful, and so true. God bless you all!
Anni too had a rough time with everything, all the transition but she (and we) are doing better being in our place now. We even had a b-day party for her and about 20 neighbors came too
we are thinking of you 2 and the boys. Take care!!
Praying for you all!
