Say Hi to Charles for me if he is still in the country. Sitting by the fire, under the tree, eating meat at Charles’ house was one of the best times I’ve ever had. It’s good to know that somethings trascend culture like men, fire and meat.

We are always harder on ourselves than others are on us. I think we are even harder on ourselves than God is on us. The apostle Paul never felt like he was worthy of his calling and never felt like was living up to the expectations God put on him. It is a good thing God uses the foolish things of this world to accomplish his purposes. I think that feeling like we are not doing all we can is where God wants us to be because then we are relying on Him and He can truly use us. It is the believers who think they are adequate that are in the real trouble.
